Sealed bids will be received by Swearengin Water System until Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. CST, and then publicly opened and read aloud for performing all work described as follows:

Pump Station Generators

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held virtually on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. CST. Instructions for attending the virtual pre-bid meeting can be found in the Contract Documents. Swearengin Water System has received ARPA funds from the Marshall County Commission to install new generators at the Scottsboro, Grant, and Willmon Road locations. Compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, rules, and regulations are required

This project consists of:

  • Furnishing and installing new natural gas powered generators at the Grant booster pump station and Willmon Road water storage tank site

  • One new diesel powered generator at the Scottsboro booster pump station site.
